Eleven Sixteen is a Lagos-built, globally worn luxury house founded by Chief Ugo Mozie. Every garment is vertically integrated — from growing and weaving raw cotton on African soil to the finished piece on your body. The cowrie shell, the Benin Bronze, the hand of the aso oke weaver: these are not decorations. They are the architecture.

Launched April 5, 2025 in Lagos. Presented at Casa Cipriani, New York. Worn by Diana Ross, Blue Ivy Carter, Jon Batiste, Colman Domingo.

Chief Ugo Mozie — Founder

Couturier.
Image Director.
Light Worker.

Born in Enugu, Nigeria. Raised in Los Angeles and Houston. New York City at 17. Ugo Mozie is a couturier, image director, filmmaker, and self-described Light Worker whose practice sits where African cultural authority meets global luxury codes.

He built his career through styling legend Jason Rembert, rose to become U.S. PR Director for Vivienne Westwood, then became the go-to image architect for artists demanding a statement — Beyoncé, Diana Ross, Jon Batiste, Blue Ivy Carter, Colman Domingo, Travis Scott, Davido. He designed Diana Ross's legendary 18-foot feathered train at the 2025 Met Gala. He dressed Jon Batiste in custom Nigerian designs at the 2026 Grammys.

Eleven Sixteen is his most personal act: a house built to make Lagos a destination, the way Paris is a destination.
